To those who may read my blog,
I have decided to create this blog to share my life, problems, happiness and concerns with you. As a Persian girl with a Saudi husband, I have faced tons and tons of obstacles and problems. Many sad. Hopeless moments when I thought about getting divorced and many happy days when my heart was full of love and joy. I want to help those Iranians who are willing to marry Saudis and Saudis who want to marry Iranians know more about the path they have chosen and decide with open eyes. Whoever reads my blog is welcome to this small home.
Our problems started from the time we applied to get Saudi marriage approval. Any Saudi who wants to marry a non-Saudi needs to get permission from the government and if not, the Saudi government won’t recognize the marriage.
Yes our marriage is approved by Iranian government, it is officially approved but since I am not recognized by Saudi government, my husband can not sponsor me in any GCC country, this means that he can’t apply to get residency visa for me. I am UAE resident but soon I will have to transfer my visa and go under my husband’s sponsorship but Saudi Arabia has assigned all GCC countries not to accept a Saudi man sponsor his wife if they don’t have the Saudi marriage permission. This is what we were told in the UAE Court of Law. The sad part of the story is the fact that Saudi Arabia does not approve our marriage without giving us any explanations.
This was just a small corner of my life to familiarize you more with what the purpose of this blog is. I will definitely try to translate all my posts in Farsi. I hope my experience help someone out there and let the authorities think twice.
Love and Peace to All
